The Scope That Wouldn't

Went shooting last night. Did several exercises that I might post about in the future. One exercise was particularly interesting.
There are two strings of bullets on this target. Mine is the row on the right. To conduct this drill, I aimed at the black dot at the bottom of the target for every sho
t fired. Between rounds I would move my scope up 2 MOA, then shoot again, still aiming at the black dot at the bottom of the target. The horizontal lines measure exactly 2 MOA apart. As you can see, when I move my elevation turret 2 MOA, my POI doesn't move the same. My Nightforce does not have an adjustable zero stop. When I run it all the way down, I am 1.5 MOA high at 100. The black lines angled lines show which bullet holes belong to which desired POI. Very interesting indeed...

The next target is fairly self explanatory.
The lesson here is that it is measurably harder to shoot under the pressure of a time clock.
